Terms of Service

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Cepte Kalsın. By creating an account, using the web app, using the mobile app or accessing Plus features, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.

1. Who provides the service

Cepte Kalsın is operated by Emrah Garip. For questions about these Terms, contact destek@ceptekalsin.app.

If paid services are offered to consumers in the EU/EEA/UK, the checkout or account area will show required trader, price, renewal, cancellation and support information before purchase.

2. What Cepte Kalsın does

Cepte Kalsın is a personal budgeting, cash-flow and finance organisation tool. It helps you record transactions, manage accounts, track credit cards and overdrafts, prepare shopping lists, review monthly summaries, follow a portfolio and use optional OCR or AI-assisted transaction draft features.

Cepte Kalsın is not a bank, payment institution, investment firm, accounting firm, tax adviser, legal adviser or regulated financial adviser. Information shown in the app is for personal organisation only. It is not financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be 18 or older to use Cepte Kalsın.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Your data, records and responsibilities

You are responsible for the transactions, balances, categories, notes, shopping lists, portfolio records, documents and other information you add or approve. You should check your records before relying on them, especially where they were created from OCR, AI or document extraction.

You keep ownership of the content and records you add to Cepte Kalsın. You give us a limited permission to host, process, transmit, back up, display and otherwise use that content only as needed to operate, secure and support the service.

You must not upload unlawful, harmful or third-party confidential material unless you have the right to process it through Cepte Kalsın.

5. Receipt scanning, OCR and AI-assisted features

Receipt scanning and OCR-assisted transaction autofill can be available to free users. AI-assisted PDF statement, account activity and document import can be reserved for Plus users.

OCR and AI outputs are suggestions, not guarantees. They can misread dates, amounts, descriptions, currencies, transaction direction or categories. You must review and approve drafts before they become saved transactions.

Uploaded PDFs and images are not kept as document files by Cepte Kalsın after processing. Selected document content can be sent to an OCR, AI or document-processing provider when that is needed to create a draft. Our handling of personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

6. Free plan and Plus features

Cepte Kalsın can offer a free plan and a Plus plan. Free features can include manual budgeting, transaction entry, core account tracking and OCR-supported receipt autofill. Plus features can include AI-assisted PDF/document import, full monthly summary history, portfolio features, export options and other advanced tools shown in the app.

Feature availability can change as the product develops. If we remove or materially reduce a paid feature during an active paid term, we will handle the change in accordance with applicable consumer law and any refund rules shown at purchase.

7. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Payment features can be unavailable during test, beta or pre-launch periods. If paid subscriptions are enabled, the checkout flow will show the price, taxes where applicable, renewal period, payment method, cancellation method and other important terms before you pay.

If a subscription renews automatically, you can cancel future renewals through the method shown in the app or checkout provider. Cancelling stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund past charges unless the purchase terms or mandatory law give you a refund right.

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK, mandatory consumer rights continue to apply. For distance purchases, you can have a 14-day withdrawal right unless an exception applies. For digital content or digital services, an exception can apply if you expressly ask for immediate performance and acknowledge that this affects your withdrawal right. The exact withdrawal and refund information will be provided in the purchase flow when paid features go live.

8. Acceptable use

• Do not access or attempt to access another user’s account or data.
• Do not reverse engineer, attack, scan, overload, scrape or disrupt the service.
• Do not use the service for fraud, unlawful activity, money laundering or unauthorised data processing.
• Do not upload malware, harmful content or content you do not have the right to use.
• Do not bypass access controls, rate limits, subscription checks or security measures.
• Do not use OCR, AI or document-processing features in a way that violates third-party rights or applicable law.

9. Third-party services

Cepte Kalsın uses third-party infrastructure, email, analytics, market data, payment, OCR and AI/document-processing providers. Third-party providers can have their own terms and privacy documents. We are not responsible for third-party services that you access outside Cepte Kalsın, such as an app store, payment provider portal or external website.

10. Availability and product changes

We work to keep Cepte Kalsın reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. The service can be unavailable because of maintenance, security actions, infrastructure issues, provider outages, force majeure, legal requirements or technical problems.

We can improve, change, limit, suspend or remove features as the product evolves. If a change materially affects a paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users.

11. Security and account suspension

We can suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your account is compromised, your use creates security risk, you violate these Terms, payment fails for a paid plan, or we must do so to comply with law. We will restore access when the issue is resolved where reasonably possible.

12. Intellectual property

Cepte Kalsın, its software, design, branding, content and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms. You do not receive ownership of the software or brand.

13. Data protection

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Separate Turkish legal notices cover users in Türkiye.

14. Disclaimers

Cepte Kalsın is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Budget calculations, portfolio values, monthly summaries, OCR outputs, AI outputs and imported document data can contain mistakes. You are responsible for checking information before making personal, financial, tax, legal or investment decisions.

15. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption or decisions you make based on user-entered data, app calculations, OCR results, AI suggestions or market data.

16. Ending your account

You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion. We may close, suspend or restrict your account if you materially violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, or use the service unlawfully. Account deletion and retention are explained in the Privacy Policy.

17. Governing law and mandatory protections

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the service operator is established. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not remove mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence.

18. Changes to these Terms

We will update these Terms when the service, law or business model changes. The latest version will be published on this page. If a change materially affects your rights or paid features, we will provide an appropriate notice before the change takes effect where required.
